OUSE AND HUMBER DRAINAGE BOARD

LAND DRAINAGE ACT 1991
(THE ACT)
DRAINAGE RATES AND SPECIAL LEVIES 2019/20
As required by Section 48 (2) of the Act NOTICE is hereby given that;
1. On 6th February 2019, in accordance with Part IV of the Act the Board made a Drainage Rate
of 14.18p in the pound in respect of agricultural land and agricultural buildings within the
Board’s district to raise £558,187.19 of the Board’s estimated expenditure for the year ending
on 31st March 2020.
2. Also on 6th February 2019, in accordance with the Internal Drainage Boards (Finance)
Regulations 1992 the Board made a Special Levy to raise the balance of the Board’s estimated
expenditure for the same year to be issued to the following local billing authority in the
amount stated: –
East Riding of Yorkshire Council – £677,687.73
